Hi all, new Linux user here dual-booting with windows 7 home premium on the side. internet was connected and working fine through my Netgear WNA3100 USB wireless N300 adaptor on windows, however the very first time i rebooted and selected Mint in the Grub OS boot screen, loaded up home screen and clicked on Firefox i realised pretty quick i can't connect to the net. Looking at Network connections down on the taskbar, my only connection option is 'Cable - Unplugged' which I can't use anyway as my router is on the other side of the house!!! My Netgear Genie disk won't work obviously, so can someone with more knowledge please give me some advice in downloading/installing drivers for this device in cinnamon 18.1 and actually connecting to my home wifi.
